Moyes: 'Jermaine is not for sale!`

The Sunderland manager David Moyes finally gave up West Ham United from trying to lure Jermaine Defoe.
The Scottish expert confirmed an offer of Londoners, but he was adamant that the striker will not leave the Black Cats in January.
'West Ham really had made a proposal that we rejected. I have already said that he is not for sale and there is no doubt that we will not part with him in January. There is speculation about him, but that does not come from our club adviced by cr7 so I have nothing more to say about it.`, said Moyes.
According to the press what happened finally made the Hammers stop their attempts to get the veteran, who is in an excellent shape. They will turn their attention elsewhere.
According to the information, the Londoners have offered 6 million pounds, after which they were willing to give 13 million pounds for the player, but since the hopes of Sunderland for survival are connected with him only, he won`t leave the 'stadium of light`.
