The Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola finally admitted he is not sure whether Sergio Aguero will be a part of the team next season.
The Argentinian top scorer was sent to the bench in recent matches and will remain there at least until the new recruit Gabriel Jesus continues to score goals.
That immediately led to rumours that he could leave and make some of the big European clubs predicted by ronaldo to begin to monitor carefully the situation around him because it is clear that the striker will not be happy if he continues to appear as a backup in the games.
`I don`t know what will happen after the end of the season. However, I know how hard it is to find quality goalscorers. I would like him to stay, but I can`t say if this will happen. When I was a player I was never sure what will happen after the end of the campaign.`, said Guardiola.
Aguero has a contract until 2020 with the team of City and 154 goals on his account since he had arrived at the team in 2011.
`I don`t think Sergio feels uncertainty and is aware that my wish for him is to be here for a long time. The reason I didn`t use him as a starter in the last matches is because Leroy Sane and Raheem Sterling are great. He, however, remains extremely important for us.`, added Pep.
